A little bit about me...

I've always been a passionate rugby supporter and really enjoyed the atmosphere from going to watch a game live, to screaming at the TV!

Before having a family, I worked in the City for 10 years but still managed to fit in a game or two along the way. Being a busy mum of two boys has taken up a lot of my time, and I've watched them on the rugby pitch at school and club for many years. When a full time job came to an end, other parents on the side lines would say to me "You seem to know what to say, why don't you give this a go".

So I did!

I retrained as a Level 1 Coach, and subsequently Level 2, plus Referee and various other CPD courses. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of coaching boys and girls in school time, after school clubs, and at Club and County level, plus refereeing at tournaments and festivals up and down the country.

After a serious accident in 2017 temporarily put my life on hold, I’m getting involved again with the sport, and becoming a Club Ambassador is the perfect way of making that first step back on the ladder.

Why I became a Club Ambassador

After seeing first hand, how rugby can have a positive influence on a persons confidence and social skills, I feel it is important to support SOHK in their mission to help a variety of individuals who are benefiting hugely from the work that they do.

Why donate £3 a month?

For the price of a single cappuccino or latte, you could be helping someone on the SOHK programme.

Whilst I can't guarantee a caffeine hit, I promise you will feel a buzz from knowing how much your donation is greatly received and put to work.
