Victoria Griffin (Treasurer)

Victoria is a qualified Chartered Accountant and currently works as a financial reporting analyst for The Ambassador Theatre Group. She is a keen rugby fan and has been supporter of SOHK for number of years.

Penny Hope

Penny is a former Chief of Staff to the CEO and COO at Barclays Wealth and is now Head of the CIO Office at RBS.  She was recruited to fill a skills gap around operational understanding and has particular expertise in governance, risk, growth and corporate organisation.

Penny currently heads up the CIO Office working as the Chief of Staff to the global CIO at RBS. Previously she has worked at Barclays Bank in various roles including those of Chief of Staff to the CEO and COO for Wealth Management; COO for Corporate Relations (comprising Group Strategy, Group Government Relations; Group Corporate Communications, Group Citizenship and Group Branding, Marketing and Sponsorship). Penny has also worked in e-commerce, communications and financial publishing.

Deborah Griffin OBE (Chair)

Deborah is one of the great influencers behind the amazing growth in women’s rugby in England having been a founding member of the WRFU and Chair of the first Women’s World Cup.She sits on the Board of Directors of the RFU and the World Rugby Council. She is also a chartered accountant and is currently the Bursar at Homerton College, Cambridge University.

James Cameron

James is a senior partner at Milbank with over 20 years’ experience of banking and corporate law.  A former player at Havant, Rosslyn Park and Harlequins, he brings an excellent rugby and business network.  His firm, Milbank, provides SOHK with pro bono legal advice and is also heavily involved with SOHK in providing mentoring, interview and CV training, participation in jobs fairs and hosting various SOHK events.

Mike is Co-Head of Investment Banking at Investec, having previously worked at Ernst and Young as a Chartered Accountant as well as Barclays and ANZ Investment bank. He was one of the driving forces behind what has now become our main annual fundraiser. Out of work, Mike is an avid sports fan – especially of Liverpool FC.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join SOHK's Schools Team in South Wales. SOHK’s Schools Facilitator and Coach for Wales will be responsible for supporting the delivery of both the male and female Schools Programmes for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 days per week. Delivery days are likely to be a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and will be in the Cwmbran, Pontypool and Bridgend areas in a school setting.
