Torran has a degree in sports coaching and development, and is also a RFU Level 3 coach with a background in rugby coaching across a wide variety of levels and ages. This experience over the last 12 years has given him a well-rounded understanding of the game and how its values can impact others.

Torran became involved with SOHK as a freelance coach in 2015 with the launch of the London Schools programme, and has had a huge impact on the charity ever since. He now works as National Schools Manager, overseeing the school programmes across the UK, which work with over 1200 young people per week.

Torran continues to play and coach at his local rugby club Hertford RFC.
