School Of Hard Knocks is a charity that many know I have been involved with for a number of years as pro bono advisor and a cause I am very passionate about. So passionate that they have now convinced me to take on this challenge!

SOHK is a ground-breaking social inclusion programme that uses the proven benefits of sport (including rugby!) to tackle the issues surrounding unemployment, crime and health. They work with individuals to help them take responsibility and take positive steps forward in their lives. They offer a number of different programmes, each tailored to its audience and principal aims. The constant factor is their methodology – controlled confrontation, challenging activities and a constant affirmation of self-worth and motivation.

To raise money for their life-changing work, I am climbing 4000m over three days in Chamonix this May.

Please support me with any donation, big or small, to spur me on over barriers of weather, gradient and exhaustion this summer!

As always, 87p of every £1 donated to SOHK will be spent directly on frontline work.

Best,

Dan
