So, it looks like I am doing this again... On 24-25 August I will be pulling on the SOHK jersey and taking the field with 22 other heroes in an incredible challenge. We will be attempting the longest game of full contact, 15 a side, game of rugby ever completed. Being a current GWR holder for the same challenge (28 hours 23 minutes, in 2015) I couldn't say no to the opportunity to go one step further. The challenge is to play for 30 consecutive hours, at the Rosslyn Park, London. Knowing how hard the previous record was to achieve, this is going to be extremely difficult, especially as I am 4 years older and have many more aches and pains.

School of Hard Knocks is a ground-breaking social inclusion charity. They use sport to help unemployed adults and children at risk of exclusion to realise their potential. Please support me in fundraising for their life-changing programmes.

Rugby is a huge part of my life, both from a playing and spectating point of view. I have been fortunate to experience first hand the life long friendships made on the rugby pitch, the tremendous highs of victory, and the gut wrenching feeling of a last minute defeat. SOHK provides similar experiences to those in need of a new focus in life and being able to raise money for such a cause is a huge honour. I cannot wait for the big day to come around.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, and hopefully, for your generous donation. This is going to be fun!
