Millions of people have lost their jobs amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a direct response to this crisis, School of Hard Knocks has created a shortened, online and high-impact version of our standard eight-week course called Back in the Game.

Back in the Game is a week-long course that will run from Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 12pm, and anyone who has lost their job due to the coronavirus pandemic can enrol. We will be using the online platform Zoom to create a sense of togetherness without physically being together, so the course can be done entirely from home. The only things that participants must have access to are Wi-Fi and some means of interacting with the live sessions such as a laptop, tablet or even a phone.

The Back in the Game course seeks to help participants both mentally and practically.  Our aim is to help participants into a positive state of mind by providing them with helpful strategies to enable a growth mindset, as they consider possible new sectors and employers. We also want to support participants practically as they get up to speed on their accelerated journey back into work. The course will include three compact Zoom sessions (live) each morning for one week, with facilitated group work followed by scheduled 1-1 phone calls in the afternoon to support individual needs.Sessions will include thinking through online profiles, a CV re-work and interview preparation and technique

If you are interested in being a potential or partner for the Back in the Game course or simply want to learn more about it, please do not hesitate to contact us.
