Job Description Responsibilities School of Hard Knocks is looking to recruit & develop a pool of experienced and enthusiastic rugby & fitness coaches to assist in practical delivery on its varied programmes. These posts will have a specific role in delivering a high quality, efficient and effective service to the project, including planning & delivery of relevant coaching sessions, associated administrative tasks & recording of monitoring information. Coaches will also be asked to take a full part in extended delivery, which will include related non-physical activity. Person Specification The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable and open minded as well as having excellent communication and team working skills. Experience of working with vulnerable adults is preferred but not essential. Working alongside project staff, coaches will work effectively in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders and will display a strong desire to make a positive difference in the area(s) worked. A minimum of Level 1 UKCC Coaching Qualification (or equivalent), experience of coaching adults, and superior communication and organisational skills are essential for this post. All coaches are required be PVG checked and should also be willing to undertake appropriate training & CPD required to fulfil any duties.
