With so much happening in the world of politics its refreshing to see good news can still make the headlines.

This week the work of SOHK's women's rugby course in Richmond received coverage from the Daily Mail, BBC 5 Live and SKY News.

Before SOHK I couldn't run run for a bus, but now I can run all the way across the pitch and back.

Our very own Amy Wilson Hardy (GB and England), Dana Sealy and Christine Hart discussed SOHK's remarkable role models, excellent coaching and unique psychological programme.

SOHK has the honour of working with 100s of women and young girls every year and it is fantastic to see that Richmond cohort has received such positive coverage. Through sport, SOHK empowers confidence and instills self-belief, as Dana can testify:

SOHK encouraged me to look for work in places I didn't know I ever could.

SOHK's courses are life-changing and make a real difference across our community and country.

When asked why rugby can make such a difference to women in our society Amy Wilson Hardy explained that rugby offers:

Commradery, motivation and the feel-good factor
